What's the best book you read this year?

I'm ashamed to say that I haven't read all that much this year, especially when compared to how much 
I did last year. So, I'm going to have to say HP7 =) I think it would be up there anyway even if I did read 
a bunch of other books. ;)

If you had a time machine, which year would you travel to and why?

2004 =)

The year after my first year of law school, my most horrendous year ever, but the summer when I studied 
abroad in Tokyo =) Best summer EVER, hands down!

If your Vox Neighborhood had a potluck dinner tonight, what dish, drink or dessert would you bring?

I'd bring my aunt's famous pancit palabok and cassava cake! mmmmmmmm =):::::

Where is the farthest you have ever been away from home? Did you get homesick?

The farthest I've been from home is Japan! I was part of a study abroad program based in Tokyo =) It was 
two and a half months of complete awesomeness. I think I got homesick like the first day, but in the end, 
I totally didn't want to leave!

What's your cure for the common cold?

Zicam!!! I swear by that stuff =) It's so awesome! Once I take it, I start to feel better almost instantly. 
Try it out the next time you're feeling under the weather. I suggest the cherry chewables or the citrus rapid melts.

Did you see the Harry Potter movie this weekend?  Are you going to read the new book?

Yes and Yes =)

I watched HP5 TWICE! And I'll be attending Midnight Madness festivities at a B&N =D 
 

Who's the most annoying person on TV?

It's a tie between Ryan Seacrest and Rosie Odonnell =P 

After all the recent season and series finales, what are you watching on TV these days?

I'm still mourning the cancellation of my beloved Gilmore Girls. But right now, I'm watching 

Heroes (can't wait for it to come back!)
Dancing with the Stars (just started watching this past season)
The Tudors (I've missed a few eps, but so far, it's been pretty good)
Law and Order SVU (as usual)

And that's about it =P Most of the time I'm trawling through the cable channels, trying to watch movies I haven't seen 
yet. There are MANY I need to catch up on.

If you were told you could relive a moment in your life, which would you choose?

It would have to be the night I found out I passed the bar. The day, overall, was pure torture for me... all that horrendous waiting and random tearing up throughout the day. But seeing my name on the pass list was... one of the best feelings in the world. The happy ending to what had been a stressful summer of studying. It still gives me goosebumps. And sometimes I still can't believe that I actually passed my first time.

Do you have any phobias?

I have one major phobia, and that's being placed in the spotlight in public. It really scares the bejeezus out of me, which makes it somewhat of a miracle that I got through law school in one piece. You'd think that three years of the socratic method would have scared the phobia right out of me... but nope! When faced with the prospect of having to open my mouth and speak in public, my heart starts to race, I get all sweaty and hot, and I feel like I could almost faint. For shame, I know!
